Summer Services: Stories of Hope

The Sunday Services Committee is very excited about the speakers we have lined up for this summer to tell us their “Stories of Hope.”  The current schedule is as follows, all at 10 AM on Sundays:

June 23:   Cappy Nunlist and Karen Watson:  Reflections on the Meaning of Hope

June 30:   Rev. Sandra Pontoh of the Maranatha Indonesian Church of Christ will speak on the immigrant community in Somersworth, NH                              

July 7    Phil Kinsler: The Holocaust: Survival, Resilience, Ambition, Transcendence

July 14:   Mitch Beck:  The Many Faces of Hope                          

July 21:   Voices of Youth: Graduates of our RE program will share their memories of that experience and how it continues to influence their lives.                                             

July 28:   Kathy Christie & Mardy High: Estonian Hope in the Face of Oppression: the Song Festival

Aug. 4:   Ginger Wallis:  Finding a Spark of Hope and Social Justice Arise from Climate Change

Aug. 11:  Laura Barrett:  Holding onto hope when your family is threatened                   

Aug. 18:    Rev. Jan Hutslar: TBA

Aug. 25:    Joint service in Barnard
