Our pilgrims flew to Assam Wednesday morning and were met there by Rangdajied and the Associate Minister for the 4+ hour drive to Mukhap.
We had an uneventful overnight flight – even caught a little sleep, thanks to some empty rows in the rear- and arrived in Munich in time for breakfast.
We are in the airport and will be boarding in about a half an hour. Thank you all so much for the many wishes of safety, joy and good adventures.
This is us taking our first anti malaria pill!
The six pilgrims traveling to India to visit our partner church in Mukhap, India will be leaving this Sunday, January 27 right after church.
We will be writing a blog that you can follow here and we will post regularly, limited only by lack of Internet access.
10 AM at the Meeting House (320 Rt. 5 South, Norwich, VT)
Jim and Rev. Gail Seavey talk about their trips to northeast India and their interactions with the UU churches there. The Seaveys have visited North East India several times (even Mukhap!), and they will talk about their experiences there. This will be a service, more than a travelogue! After the service we will have an early light lunch with an Indian main dish – salads and desserts will be pot luck. We hope you can come. If you have questions, just call the office who will forward your inquiry.
Simultaneous child care – come prepared to water the garden and play!
