Rev. Pellegrini affiliated with the congregation in April 2020.  As a community minister she primarily serves beyond the walls of the church as a hospital chaplain.  She periodically assists with worship and pastoral care.


Rev. Nancy Bird Pellegrini received her Master of Divinity Degree from Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, DC and was ordained as a Unitarian Universalist minister in 2013. She has master’s degrees in international relations from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy and the London School of Economics. She received her bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College. She and her husband Vin moved back to Hanover from Charleston, SC in the summer of 2019.

Rev. Pellegrini served for six years as the Chaplain at the Hollings Cancer Center at the Medical University of South Carolina and as the Assistant Minister at the Unitarian Church in Charleston. She is currently doing additional chaplaincy training at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. She previously had a 20-year career as a military analyst for the federal government specializing in nuclear arms control. She and her husband have five adult daughters between them, so there is never a dull moment!
